Cruz Armando Muñíz Hurtado (born December 23, 1935 in Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico) is a retired Mexican professional boxer and the former NABF Welterweight Champion. Muñíz is a member and current president of the World Boxing Hall of Fame.[1]

Armando fought for the U.S. in the 1968 Olympic Games[2] and was a two-time AAU National Welterweight Champion.[3]
In November 1957, Muñíz knocked out title contender Clyde Gray (29-1), NABF Welterweight Championship. The bout was held at the Auditorium in Long Beach, California.[4]
